UPCOMING HORROR FEATURE FILM: SIGIL

Despite being in a happy relationship with one another, Maeve and Bridget are falling apart. While Bridget’s family is supportive of their relationship, Maeve’s family won’t even show up to her voice recitals anymore. This causes Maeve to spiral into depression and anxiety as the school semester comes to a close. In an effort to celebrate their anniversary, Bridget takes Maeve to a secluded rental home in the countryside. There Maeve finds a strange sigil on a tree just off the rental’s property. Maeve unknowingly makes a wish before the sigil that could give her all the love she’s ever desired from her family, but at the cost of the person who loves her the most.

The cast is made up of Karlee Mihailov, Isabella Rodriguez and Casey Notarianni as the Witch.

“We still have several weeks of production ahead of us but everything is going great and we really feel we have a beautifully, haunting film here. When I read the screenplay for the first time, my immediate thought was that it felt like a modern day grim fairy tale. With our first Indiegogo Campaign, we raised just over $2,500 and with this second campaign, it’s a way to bring a little more money into the film, giving us opportunities to take the film to greater lengths.

Jacob Perrett started making a name for himself locally here in Northwest, PA after screening a couple Student films at a local Movie Theater. In 2018, he and our team released an Anthology film called WEIRD FICTION which we would follow with SPINE CHILLER, another Anthology.

I always knew film was my calling and I really found a group of people who care about the genre and filmmaking just in general. Every week the cast and crew shows up and kills it and it is just so inspiring. I fell in love with acting when I acted in a short for Jacob back in 2017. Whether I’m in front of the Camera or helping out behind the scenes, I can see something really special here and am so proud of the talent from these people.” says Taylor Rhoades, Advertising & Assistant Camera on the film.
