Last December, Roar Uthaug, known for directing movies such as “The Wave” and “Tomb Raider”, released a Norwegian horror film called “Troll” on Netflix.
The film gained popularity and a sequel is already in the works. According to a report by Variety, this afternoon it was announced that Uthaug, the director of Troll 2, will be collaborating once again with writer Espen Aukan and producers Espen Horn and Kristian Strand Sinkerud at Motion Blur.
It has been announced that the sequel to the previous installment will commence production at some point in the following year. The first film features a cast consisting of Marie Wilmann, Kim Falck, Mads Sjøgård Pettersen, and Gard Eidsvold in leading roles.
