This Halloween, Paramount+ is revisiting Ludlow, Maine with their latest original prequel film, Pet Sematary: Bloodlines.
Based on the classic novel by Stephen King, this untold chapter sheds light on the early events that led to the story’s main events. The worldwide premiere of Pet Sematary: Bloodlines will occur on Friday, October 6, and will be available exclusively on Paramount+ in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Brazil.

Pet Sematary has been rated “R,” for “Horror violence, gore and language.”
The cast of Pet Sematary: Bloodlines includes a number of talented actors. These include Jackson White, known for his work in Tell Me Lies and Mrs. Fletcher, Forrest Goodluck from The Revenant, Jack Mulhern from The Boys in the Boat and Mare of Easttown, Henry Thomas from The Fall of the House of Usher and Gerald’s Game, Natalie Alyn Lind from The Goldbergs and The Gifted, and Isabella Star LaBlanc from True Detective: Night Country. The film also features Hollywood legends Pam Grier, known for her roles in Cinnamon and Jackie Brown, and David Duchovny, who is famous for his work on the TV series Californication.
The direction of the film is attributed to Lindsey Anderson Beer, who makes her directorial debut, while the script is a joint effort between Beer and Jeff Buhler. The production of the film is overseen by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian.
