The upcoming movie adaptation of Disney’s Haunted Mansion, a live-action film, has received a rating of “PG-13” due to its inclusion of thematic elements and frightening action scenes, and is set to be released in theaters on July 28, 2023.
The new live action adaptation of the well-known Disney theme park attraction, which is home to 999 haunts, was directed by Justin Simien, renowned for his work on Dear White People and Bad Hair.
In the cast of the movie are high-profile actors and actresses including LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Rosario Dawson, and Danny DeVito, with notable roles played by Jamie Lee Curtis as Madame Leota and Jared Leto as the Hatbox Ghost.
The new movie will feature appearances from notable figures such as Winona Ryder, Dan Levy, and Hasan Minhaj.
For the upcoming Disney movie, the script is being written by Katie Dippold, who also wrote the script for the 2016 movie Ghostbusters.
