[Trailer] ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Gets The Horror Treatment With ‘Belle’

Coming soon from Level 33 Entertainment is the upcoming horror film Belle, a fresh reinterpretation of the timeless story of Beauty and the Beast that will be available for home viewing in the upcoming summer months.

Max Gold, the acclaimed filmmaker behind notable works such as “Surfer’s Paradise,” “Silicon Beach,” and “Classic of Changes,” has written and directed the highly anticipated film Belle.

Audiences can catch this captivating film in select theaters starting on July 14, with the option to watch it On Demand beginning August 22. This Friday, July 14, the film will be shown at Hawkins Theatres Gateway Pavilions 18 in Avondale, Arizona. Additional theaters will be included in the schedule throughout the week.

The cast of the film includes Andrea Snædal, known for her role in “Silicon Beach,” Ingi Hrafn Hilmarsson, who has appeared in “The Noise of Engines” and “Silicon Beach,” Hana Vagnerová, recognized for her performances in “Female Factor” and “Beat on Friendship,” Gudmundur Thorvaldsson, known for his roles in “Take 5” and “Eleven Men Out,” Helga Braga Jónsdóttir, who has appeared in “Stitch n’ Bitch” and “Women at War,” and Sigurður Sigurjónsson, recognized for his performances in “The Valhalla Murders” and “Under The Tree.

Belle would do anything to save her ailing father so she journeys in search of a mythical rose believed to be a cure. As payment for the rose, Belle must surrender herself to a vicious beast and battle his spell.
