Damien Leone and Phil Falcone, the filmmakers behind Terrifier 3, have announced that Cineverse, SCREAMBOX, and Bloody Disgusting have obtained the rights to its North American distribution.
The major news was first reported by Variety this morning. The film is planned to have an extensive theatrical release in North America, later next year, after which it will exclusively premiere on SCREAMBOX, Cineverse’s streaming service.
Leone, the creator, and Falcone, the producer, aim to continue the success of the Terrifier film franchise with its upcoming third installment. The team intends to remain faithful to the fanbase by preserving the essence of the second movie. Nevertheless, they also aspire to push the boundaries of horror cinema by taking it to a higher level of extremity.
