Teaser for ‘Squid Game 2’ Confirms Return of Familiar Faces

Netflix has confirmed that the immensely popular show, “Squid Game,” will be making a comeback with its second season. The streaming service has already released a teaser trailer revealing the official cast announcement earlier today.

Today’s video announcement (shown below) reveals that Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo are set to reprise their roles in “Squid Game” Season 2. In addition to these familiar faces, Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Sung-hoon, and Yang Dong-geun will be joining the cast as new players.

The television series from South Korea portrays a narrative where hundreds of financially troubled individuals agree to participate in games designed for children. The prize for winning is undoubtedly enticing, with fatal ramifications. The competition is a game of survival, where the victor can receive a staggering amount of 45.6 billion won.

The mastermind behind the creation of “Squid Game” is none other than Hwang Dong-hyuk.

In November, Netflix will release the reality television show “Squid Game: The Challenge.
