During the year 1969, a youthful Jud Crandall aspires to escape his place of birth, Ludlow, Maine. However, he soon stumbles upon malevolent truths concealed within the town and is compelled to confront a sinister ancestral legacy that will forever bind him to Ludlow. Collaborating with his childhood companions, Jud must combat a timeless malevolence that has ensnared Ludlow from its very inception.
