After the success of The Black Phone, which was directed by Scott Derrickson and adapted from Joe Hill’s novel, it is unsurprising that the sequel, The Black Phone 2, has now been officially confirmed for release.
On June 27, 2025, The Black Phone 2 will be released by Blumhouse and Universal. There is currently no information available regarding whether or not Derrickson will be returning to direct. Please remain alert for any updates.
