As the Scream franchise makes its return to theaters and the horror genre continues to dominate the box office, it was inevitable that the Scary Movie saga would also make a comeback.
According to a recent report from Variety, Paramount is currently in the process of reviving the Scary Movie franchise by developing a fresh reboot film, slated for a potential release in 2025.
Paramount Pictures has revealed their collaboration with Neal H. Moritz, the acclaimed producer of the “Fast and Furious” series, to revive the inactive franchise, by Variety.
Production for the reboot of Scary Movie is scheduled to commence in the autumn of 2024, with its theatrical release slated for 2025.
