[News] First Look at Collin Farrell’s Character ‘Oswald Cobblepot’ in “The Penguin”

Colin Farrell is set to reprise his role as Oswald Cobblepot in the television series “The Penguin”, coming next year, which is produced by Max.

This series will further explore the universe established in Matt Reeves’ “The Batman” film.

The new image from the forthcoming series has been unveiled by Empire today, and it can be seen below.

The character of Sofia Falcone, daughter of Carmine Falcone, will be portrayed by Cristin Milioti, known for her role in “Palm Springs.” Fans of “The Batman” will remember that Carmine Falcone was played by John Turturro in the same film.

The plot of the series revolves around the struggle for power over the city between Sofia and The Penguin, portrayed by Colin Farrell.

The first two episodes of the Penguin spinoff will be helmed by Craig Zobel, known for his work on “The Hunt.” The show will be written and show-run by Lauren LeFranc and will continue where the movie left off.

The executive producers for this project include Matt Reeves, Farrell, LeFranc, and Dylan Clark.
