M. Night Shyamalan’s Upcoming Movie ‘Trap’ Occurs Entirely During A Concert

The forthcoming motion picture “Trap” from M. Night Shyamalan appears to be incredibly captivating, perhaps even reminiscent of the self-contained thrillers that were popular in the 90s. The entire plot reportedly occurs during a concert, and both Shyamalan and his daughter have stated that the film is exceptionally spine-chilling and an exceptional thriller.

“I have a new idea that I’ve started writing. It is out in 2024 and it’s very, very exciting. It’s a thriller. It’s very unusual and very new compared to what I’ve been trying to do [recently], but I’m feeling very excited about the story, so much so that I can’t wait to tell it to you guys.”

Shyamalan’s recent string of thrillers represents a complete reinvention of his style. In passing from his earlier works like The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable to more recent releases like Old and Knock at the Cabin, he has demonstrated a wide range of creative peaks, valleys, and unexpected turns. Together, these films serve as a testament to the director’s versatility and dynamic vision.

The release date for Shyamalan’s latest film, Trap, has been confirmed to be August 2nd, 2024.
