Isabela Merced joins the second season of HBO’s ‘The Last of Us’ as Dina.
“Dina is a key character in The Last of Us Part II. She is Ellie’s partner and assists her in her quest for revenge.”
Merced is the newest cast member to join the show. Joining the cast as well this week was Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, and Young Mazino as Jesse.
‘The Last of Us’ premiered on HBO in early 2023 to high praise from critics and fans alike. Season 2 is currently in production and expected to premiere in 2025.
The Last of Us is an American post-apocalyptic drama television series created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann for HBO. Based on the video game franchise developed by Naughty Dog, the series is set twenty years into a pandemic caused by a mass fungal infection, which causes its hosts to transform into zombie-like creatures and collapses society.
