Disney executive Sean Bailey has confirmed that a third installment of Hocus Pocus has been greenlit, officially announcing the anticipated sequel.
According to The New York Times, Bailey, who has been overseeing the company’s live-action remakes since 2010, confirmed that the production of Hocus Pocus 3 is currently underway.
The 1993 movie revolved around three witches, portrayed by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy, who come back to life on Halloween night. Recently, a sequel that included the initial cast members was released on Disney+.
