Disney has recently shifted and rearranged their slate of movies for the next few years leading up to the global phenomenon Avatar films for 2031. Including the release shifts and changes included the highly anticipated Fede Álvarez ‘Alien’ movie. We at Infamous Horror are very excited that this film is receiving a late Summer release.
Here is what we know about the new ‘Alien’ movie so far. Filmmaker Fede Álvarez is directing the upcoming Alien movie with Pacific Rim Uprising and Bad Times at the El Royale star Cailee Spaeny as the lead. Rounding out the cast are Rosaline‘s Isabela Merced, Industry‘s David Jonsson, The Greatest Beer Run Ever‘s Archie Renaux, and young stars Spike Fearn and Alieen Wu. Álvarez and longtime creative partner Rodo Sayagues have written the screenplay. The working title is ‘Alien: Romulus’
Hopefully we will hear about a plot synopsis and teaser trailers soon enough since we now have a release date, that is slatted for August 16, 2024.
