Disney Has Announced A New Date For The ‘Blade’ Reboot

In the midst of the ongoing WGA strike, Marvel had decided to halt pre-production on the anticipated Blade reboot last month. Fortunately, Disney has recently announced a new date for the film’s release.

Originally slated for a theatrical release on September 6, 2024, the highly anticipated movie Blade, directed by Yann Demange, will now be hitting theaters on February 14, 2025.

As part of the most recent phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel’s Blade remake features Mahershala Ali, an Academy Award-winning actor, in the lead role. Mia Goth, known for her appearances in X and Pearl, also stars in the film.

The screenplay for the project in question has undergone a series of revisions, with Michael Starrbury (known for his work on “When They See Us”) having written the latest version.

As of late, it has come to light that Nic Pizzolatto (famous for his work on “True Detective”) has joined the team and is currently working on the script as well.
