The horrifying film, FROM BLACK, has a new official poster and trailer just released by Shudder. Check out the trailer below.
The plot:
A young mother, crushed by guilt after the disappearance of her young son 5 years previously, is presented with a bizarre offer to learn the truth and set things right. But how far is she willing to go, and is she willing to pay the terrifying price for a chance to hold her boy again?
Starring in the movie ‘FROM BLACK’ are a talented cast including Anna Camp of Universal’s ‘Pitch Perfect’ series and HBO’s ‘True Blood’. Other cast members include Jennifer Lafleur, known for her roles in “Big Little Lies” and “Take Back the Night”, John Ales of “Euphoria” and “Life of the Party”, Travis Hammer of “Godless” and “Dominion”, and Richie Montgomery, recognized for his appearances in “Ozark” and “The Dinner Party”.
A multifaceted creative, Thomas Marchese’s extensive repertoire includes directing, shooting, editing, and producing music videos, short-form narratives, and documentaries. His maiden feature film “Fallen” clinched the accolade for Best Documentary Feature at the esteemed 2017 Hollywood Film Festival. Its world premiere was preceded by a successful theatrical distribution and was later picked up by Netflix. Thomas is currently busy with the post-production of the spine-chilling film “FROM BLACK” and prepping for the police procedural “Innocent.”
Shudder will debut FROM BLACK on April 28, 2023.
